Can you imagine a scene like this today?

It's an often overlooked moment in the annals of hockey history, but the 1972 brawl between the Forth Worth Wings and the crowd in attendance was a wild one.

The Wings, who were a minor league affiliate of the Detroit Red Wings at the tine,  were playing against the Dallas Blackhawks when all of a sudden all hell broke loose.

The Wings players began going over the boards and into the crowd to assault a fan, a fan that had allegedly been responsible for the furor that evening. Word is the fan successfully tossed a soft drink at head coach Bob Lemieux, a former National Hockey League defenseman.

Can you imagine what would happen if an incident like this took place today?
