Boeser makes Canucks history with his 26th goal

With all due respect to legends like Linden and Bure… we wanna see Brock SMASH this record!

With his 26th goal of the season last night, Vancouver Canucks rookie Brock Boeser has pulled into a tie with Dennis Ververgaert for third most goals in a season by a Canucks rookie.

The 20-year-old is just four shy of second place Trevor Linden and eight shy of tying Pavel Bure for the team’s all-time rookie record. With nearly 30 games left on the Canucks’ 2017-18 schedule, it seems likely that Boeser will pass the two Canucks legends and establish a new Canucks rookie goal scoring record. Remarkable.

In case you missed it, Boeser’s 26th was another beauty, albeit it in a losing effort against the Tampa Bay Lightning

What a BULLET. How many will this kid end up with before the end of the season? 35+? 40+? It’s not crazy to think that he could hit 50 goals one of these seasons. Get ready, Canucks fans. The future has arrived.
