The Christmas break is starting on a sour note for the New York Rangers. The team has revealed on Friday that forward Jesper Fast will be sidelined for two to three weeks.
The 26-year-old has suffered a quad strain last night in the contest against the New Jersey Devils.
This is bad news for the Rangers, who are already dealing with the loss on top forward Mika Zibanejad.
In 30 games with the Blue Shirts thus far this season, Fast has tallied seven goals and 16 points.
