The Vegas Golden Knights placed defenseman Luca Sbisa on the injury reserve, the team announced on Monday. He is dealing with a lower-body injury. In 23 games played this season, the 27-year old defenseman registered ten points, and has a defensive differential of plus six.
Drafted 19th overall by the Philadelphia Flyers in 2008, the Swiss defenseman played 488 games in the NHL with the Flyers, the Anaheim Ducks, the Vancouver Canucks and the Golden Knights, producing 98 points. He added four points in 20 playoff games. Vegas claimed him in the Expansion Draft from the Canucks.
