Los Angeles Kings forward Dustin Brown has been suspended one game by the NHL's Department of Player Safety for kneeing Tampa Bay Lightning defenseman Mikhail Sergachev during Saturday's game.
Brown had received a five-minute kneeing penalty and a game misconduct for the second period hit.You can see the vicious hit in this video below:
Sergachev did return for the third period from the hit.
It is the second time this season Brown is in hot water with the NHL's Department of Player Safety.
Three weeks ago, after getting slashed earlier in the game, Brown took out Pittsburgh Penguins' Justin Schultz hard into the boards. Brown was ejected from the game shortly after and received a fine for his actions.
