The Boston Bruins will once again be forced to play without one of their top forwards in the line up on Tuesday, something that has become all too familiar for the Bruins squad this season.
According to an official report from the Bruins website, forward David Krejci will not play tonight despite the fact that he participated in the Bruins morning skate earlier today.
Head coach Bruce Cassidy has confirmed the news:
"I [felt] bad because when I left the ice [after pregame skate] he was, from my understanding, he was fine," said Cassidy. "It's an upper-body injury; he didn't feel good after he got off the ice and talked to the trainers about it. So, he's going to deal with that, he'll be out - he won't travel with us - he'll be out [Tuesday] but it will be a day to day."
The Bruins once again play at home on Thursday when they face off against the Winnipeg Jets, but there's no guarantee that Krejci will be ready to go when they return from their short road trip.
