The Boston Bruins have one more game prior to the Christmas break, tomorrow afternoon against the Detroit Red Wings, and the team has announced some changes ahead of the matchup.

GM Don Sweeney announced today that the team has assigned Colby Cave to Providence.

The 22-year-old was recalled by Boston on an emergency basis on Thursday and skated in the team's 2-1 shootout win over Winnipeg in his first career NHL game.

In the meantime, defenseman Adam McQuaid could be in the lineup on Saturday.
