Vancouver Canucks fans haven’t had much to cheer about the last season or so… that is until rookie sensation Brock Boeser made the team. The 20-year-old scoring machine has an incredible 17 goals and 30 points in 30 games this season and has been far and away the team’s biggest offensive threat. Well… Canucks fans, you may want to close this article before reading on… Boeser has been injured.
The Burnsville, Minnesota native took a shot off the ankle in tonight’s contest against the Calgary Flames and struggled to get off the ice. Boeser collapsed in a heap after taking a hard Mark Giordano wrist shot to the ankle, then crawled off the ice and immediately left for the team’s medical room.
