The Arizona Coyotes are continuing their seemingly never-ending rebuilding process and as a result a very talented forward is available via trade.
According to a report from Sportsnet insider Elliotte Friedman, it appears that the Coyotes have reached the end of their relationship with 22-year-old forward Anthony Duclair.Based on the wording used by Friedman it would appear that this may be a case of both the player and the team wanting to move on from one another.
Sounds like Arizona is working to find Anthony Duclair a fresh start. At 22, have to think someone takes a shot.
While Duclair has not been the most consistent player, it's hard to tell how much of that is due to the fact that he has largely known from the time he was drafted that his team was going nowhere.
Furthermore despite the fact that Duclair has largely been in an awful situation in Arizona, he has at times shown flashes of sheer brilliance. It will be very interesting to see if he can not only show that brilliance but maintain on a new team if he does in fact get traded.
Duclair has appeared in 28 games for the Coyotes this season and he has 7 goals and 6 assists for 13 points.
