There goes any chance of an NHL future. This could get ugly.

The Rochester Americans have announced that they’ve suspended forward Steve Moses indefinitely for breach of contract.

No word on what exactly Moses did or said to earn the suspension, but it must have been something pretty serious to warrant such a move from the historic AHL franchise. The 28-year-old former KHL scoring champion had seven goals and 16 points in 29 games with the Amerks this season and looked to be on the way to establishing himself as a potential option for the team’s parent club the Buffalo Sabres.

Fans may remember that Moses has had an AHL contract terminated before, walking out on the Milwaukee Admirals in 2015 as a member of the Nashville Predators franchise.

Again, no word on what exactly transpired that forced the team into this decision, but there was this ominous statement from KHL insider Aivis Kalnins:

Read into that whatever you will.
