Chicago Blackhawks head coach Joel Quenneville confirmed that forward Patrick Sharp will be back in the lineup tonight to face the New Jersey Devils. The 35-year old veteran will be playing on the top line with Jonathan Toews and Brandon Saad, after he was scratched for last game against the Dallas Stars.

Patrick Sharp returned to Chicago last summer, as he signed with the Hawks as a free agent, but things are not going as expected so far this season. In 33 games played, he scored three goals and added six assists for nine points.

Drafted 95th overall by the Philadelphia Flyers in 2001, the Winnipeg, Manitoba native played 902 games in the NHL with the Flyers, the Blackhawks and the Dallas Stars, registering 608 points. He added 87 points in 142 playoff games, helping Chicago to win the Stanley Cup in 2010, 2013 and 2015.

The Blackhawks are currently fifth in the Central division with a record of 17-12-5.
