According to a report from Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reporter Jason Mackey, Pittsburgh Penguins forward Patric Hornqvist will be back in the team’s lineup for tonight’s game against the Columbus Blue Jackets.
The veteran forward was sent home from the team’s recent road trip to have an upper-body injury evaluated by the Penguins’ medical staff. He’s been in and out of the lineup for much of the past month, but it appears that the injury he sustained in a win over the Arizona Coyotes on December 16th has fully healed.
“It’s going to be a game-time decision, but I got better here every day,” Hornqvist said following today’s morning skate. “I feel pretty good right now. I should be no worse by tonight.”
Barring any setback this afternoon, Hornqvist should be back in the lineup tonight!
Go, Pens, Go!
