The Calgary Flames scratched Jaromir Jagr for their 4-3 win over the Los Angeles Kings, and though the result was good in the end, the move might be bad news for the veteran and the club.
If the 45-year-old is not going to play, he could be on his way of making a career-ending move and hang up the skates.
However, head coach Glen Gulutzan might be giving an update later on Jagr, which could be just a plan to shut him down completely in order for him to get fully healthy.
Jagr has been sidelined several times this season with a nagging lower-body ailment, which could be at the centre of this new issue.
No matter the decision, whether it is to put an end to his career or take a break to get better, the Flames have shown that they can manage to win with the young talent they have on board.
Bob McKenzie added that there are talks going on between Jagr and the Flames. But it remains unsure what will happen...
In 22 games this season, Jagr has recorded a goal and seven points.
