The Winnipeg Jets have assigned forward Brendan Lemieux to the Manitoba Moose on Thursday.
The 21-year-old forward played in his first nine career games for the Jets this season, recording his first NHL goal against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Oct. 29. He has tallied a total of 21 penalty minutes in nine games with Winnipeg this season.
He has also put up 28 points (12G, 16A) in 30 games for the team's farm club this year and leads the club with 94 penalty minutes.
Lemieux was drafted in the second round, 31st overall, by the Buffalo Sabres in the 2014 NHL Draft and was traded to the Jets back in 2015.
