Breaking: Key Rangers forward out tonight!

New York Rangers head coach Alain Vigneault confirmed that forward Mats Zuccarello will be out of the lineup tonight for the game against the Arizona Coyotes, as he is dealing with illness. Forward Vinni Lettieri will take his spot. 

Zucarrello, 30, was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Rangers in 2010. He played 423 games in the NHL so far, registering 293 points. He added 31 points in 60 playoff games. This season, the Norwegian forward has 31 points in 40 games played.

Lettieri, 22, was signed as an undrafted free agent by New York last summer, after he spent four season with the University of Minnesota (NCAA). He played one game with the Rangers so far this season, scoring one goal. He has 21 points in 31 games played with the Hartford Wolf Pack (AHL).

The Rangers are currently fourth in the Metropolitan division with a record of 21-14-5. The Coyotes are eight in the Pacific division with a record of 10-27-5. Henrik Lundqvist will get the start for the Blue Shirts, and he will be facing his former teammate Antii Raanta.
