The Detroit Red Wings are getting ready to host the Carolina Hurricanes on Saturday, but many adjustments had to be made during practice on Friday.

Head coach Jeff Blashill has ruled out Darren Helm, who is sidelined with a lower-body injury, and Justin Abdelkader, who injured his groin, through Tuesday.

As for Luke Glendening, who is out with a right wrist injury, he skated on Friday, and aims to return after the All-Star break, which begins Jan. 26.

Tyler Bertuzzi was back on the ice Friday after missing Thursday’s practice, and Henrik Zetterberg said he’s good to go after a full practice.

There's at least some good news here...
