The Edmonton Oilers have traded forward Greg Chase to the Florida Panthers, in exchange for future considerations on Tuesday.

Several teams have completed trades due to the Holiday Freeze which begins at 11:59PM tonight. The Pittsburgh Penguins just made a trade with the Arizona Coyotes.

Chase, who was drafted by the Oilers in the seventh round of the 2013 NHL Draft, 188th overall, has seven goals and 10 assists in 17 games with the Wichita Thunder of the ECHL this season.

He’ll be a restricted free agent at season’s end.
