The Pittsburgh Penguins announced this afternoon that they have sent down forward Jean-Sebastien Dea back to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins in the AHL.
The move was made in connection with Carter Rowney being activated off injured reserve, where he's been since the beginning of January.
He practiced today in a regular full contact jersey at the Penguins' optional morning skate.
When asked if Rowney will be in tonight, Mike Sullivan said that "all forwards" are game-time decisions.
Ryan Reaves will make his return to the lineup tonight against the Washington Capitals.
