We have breaking news to announce.

According to reports from Boston Bruins' insider Jimmy Murphy, it looks like there is a crime scene just outside of the TD Garden, in Boston. He reported that Portland street is completely closed because of a stabbing. He advises to avoid the area if you are going to the game.

Here's the message he posted on his Twitter account, just minutes ago:

"If you’re in and around North Station and TD Garden for Bruins vs Leafs, steer clear of Portland St. There was a stabbing. Blood spattered across street near McGann’s and first responders attending to victim who is non responsive. Street now closed and a crime scene."

Early reports indicate heavy police presence just minutes before the game between the Leafs and the Bruins.

"Any idea what is going on on Portland Street, by the Garden? At McGann's before the Bruins game and there is suddenly yellow police tape outside the bar and a heavy police presence."

UPDATE: Now according to NBC10 journalist Abbey Niezgoda, the stabbing has been officially confirmed by the Boston Police. The victim was stabbed in the leg and transported to a nearby hospital. There is apparently an investigation underway:

"Boston Police respond to stabbing in Portland St. just outside the Garden. Victim stabbed in the leg & transported. Investigation underway.

We do not have more information about this whole situation for now, but will keep you posted.
