Minnesota Wild defenseman Jared Spurgeon will be back in the lineup tonight to face the Chicago Blackhawks, the team announced on Twitter minutes before the game!
Spurgeon missed the las nine games with a groin injury. Prior to his injury, the 28-year old defenseman produced 15 points in 23 games played. Drafted 156th overall by the New York Islanders in 2008, the Edmonton, Alberta native registered 183 points in 471 games played in the NHL, all with the Wild. He added 16 points in 39 playoff games.
