While Nashville Predators defenseman P.K. Subban was busy taking part in the National Hockey League playoffs, rumors were surfacing that the star blue liner was dating U.S. Olympic gold medal-winning skier Lindsey Vonn.

It first started back in April when the 31-year-old blonde athlete was  spotted at a number of Subban’s games. Following Nashville’s elimination from the Stanley Cup playoffs at the hands of the Winnipeg Jets in the second round, Subban and Vonn were again spotted at different events, notably Game 7 of the Cavaliers and the Celtics series in the NBA. They also attended a course at Harvard University last week where a teacher posted on social media a picture of the pair on the campus.

Finally on Wednesday, it was confirmed what everyone was already expecting when Subban attended the CMT Music Awards in Nashville with Vonn.

According to TMZ Sports, Vonn seemingly confirmed that she and Subban are a couple by posting a photo of them together on her Instagram story with a yellow heart emoji.

They’re in the beginning stage of a relationship where you can’t get enough of each other,” a source told People of the pair, as reported by the New York Post. “They held hands down the carpet, and when they weren’t, he had his hand on the small of her back and she was giving him puppy dog eyes.”

Everyone had been asking about the pair and the dating rumors for weeks now. Last night, Vonn poked fun at everyone's interest in her love life as she introduced the Backstreet Boys' performance of "Don't Go Breaking My Heart."

"When you're a celebrity everyone's always trying to figure out who you're dating … Does anyone know who I'm dating?" she asked the crowd.

"I'm going to come clean and confess who really has my heart and has had my heart since I was 10 years old...the Backstreet Boys!"

Vonn dated Tiger Woods for nearly three years from 2012-15 and most recently was with former Los Angeles Rams assistant coach Kenan Smith.

Subban previously hinted at his interest in Vonn during an interview with ESPN back at the 2017 ESPY Awards, commenting, "It's hotter outside than Lindsey Vonn looks today, which is pretty hot."

Congratulations to the pair!
