Nashville Predators superstar P.K. Subban has reportedly signed a huge endorsement deal with apparel brand Adidas. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed, but speculation has it that Subban’s new endorsement will pay him a handsome sum of money.
The Norris Trophy winning blue liner aims on using Adidas’ brand name recognition to help him grow the sport of hockey in his new home in the American South.
"The NHL has given me such an opportunity—and not just me now, also members of my family an opportunity to take care of ourselves and our families," said Subban in Adidas’ official announcement. "My way of giving back is continuing to try to grow the game and we do that. We protect the game, but it's also our job to grow it as players while we're here and during this time."
"This has nothing to do with the game on the ice," said Subban. "This has everything to do with continuing to market the game and bring in new fans, and to do that, I think you gotta be able to cross different platforms."
