Minnesota Wild head coach Bruce Boudreau confirmed that forward Nino Niederreiter will be out of the lineup tonight to face the Tampa Bay Lightning. He left last night's game with a lower-body injury.

Niederreiter, 25, was drafted fifth overall by the New York Islanders in 2010. He was acquired by Minnesota via trade in the summer of 2013. In 418 games played in the NHL with the Islanders and the Wild, the Swiss forward registered 192 points, and added 18 points in 34 playoff games.

So far this season, he has ten goals and six assists for 16 total points in 29 games played.
