Quite the battle off the ice!

The Nashville Predators will play the Winnipeg Jets in the Western Conference second round, and while most people would have loved to see the two clubs face off in the conference finals, we are sure it will be one hell of a series. The second-round clash that pits the top two regular-season teams against each other is expected to bring fans many twists and turns, and surprises, and one is already making its way in the series - before it has even started!

Both teams are evenly matched on the ice with star players and talented goalies in between the pipes. When it comes to their fan base, it's easy to say that both the Jets and the Predators are evenly matched off the ice when it comes to stars and celebrities cheering them on. One of them has decided to step up the game and it now looks like we might get a friendly wager between two of those big names based on a Instagram post from superstar wrestler Chris Jericho.

The famous loud-mouth WWE star posted on his social media on Monday, calling out Predators veteran forward Mike Fisher's wife - and talented country music star - Carrie Underwood to make a wager with him for the second-round series. He posted a picture of both he and his Jets jersey, and Underwood in her yellow Preds uniform, tagging her and bluntly asking : what should we wager?

Underwood has yet to respond to Jericho's wager request on social media, but there's still a lot of time for her to accept before the series gets started. Jericho is from Winnipeg as his father was born there and brought his family back to Winnipeg once he retired from the NHL, and the WWE star has already been to a playoff game and he's beyond excited that the Jets have made it to the second round.

It is the third straight season Nashville advanced to the second round; it lost to the Pittsburgh Penguins in six games in the Stanley Cup Final last season and to the San Jose Sharks in seven games in the second round in 2016.

Jericho is also a known musician so it seems like this friendly wager could turn in a true musical battle of the series!
