During game between the Calgary Flames and New York Islanders on Sunday night, fans witnessed an odd fight during the first period.

Isles left winger Ross Johnston is used to fighting. Standing at 6 foot 5, the guy is huge and has a long reach. You usually don't want to be at the other end of his fists.

On Sunday, he dropped the gloves with one of the most courageous guy. Flames forward Ryan Lomberg. Why so courageous? The 23-year-old is way shorter than Johnston, we are talking more than seven inches shorter. Here are some of the comments made by reporters at the game:

Though Lomberg surely gain the respect of his teammates, he most likely regretted his decision, especially when the fight ended with a huge right from Johnston.

Lomberg left the game after the fight, and while he was under evaluation, he was not back for the third period. He may have suffered a concussion, and we will know more after the game.
