Habs are done with young goalie!

Could a rival team use the feud to land him!?

The Montreal Canadiens did not only reassign young netminder Zachary Fucale from the Laval Rocket in the American Hockey League to the Brampton Beast in the ECHL - no.

According to Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports, the Habs tried to trade Fucale during the past few weeks, only to reassign him elsewhere.

"Zachary will have another chance, but it won't be with the Canadiens," explained Lavoie's co-host Dany Dube.

"His association with Montreal is over. The recent move puts an end to it."

"He has to become a dominant goaltender in the minors and understand that he is not quite ready for the National Hockey League yet."

This season, Fucale has registered one win with the Beast, along with a 2,51 goal-against average and a .924 save percentage. With Laval, he has a 4-2-0 record, a goal-against average of 3,54 and a ,879 save percentage.

What will happen next with the Habs' second round pick in the 2013 draft? Any rival club will look to land him?
