The Montreal Canadiens announced this week that they have shut down Shea Weber, who has suffered a foot injury and will be sidelined until after the Christmas break. Die-hard fans started watching back video of the recent games to see where he might have gotten hurt, but they will need to go way back in time.
According to NHL insider Pierre LeBrun, the star defenseman injured his foot during the first game of the season against the Buffalo Sabres.

On Wednesday night, the Habs took on the Vancouver Canucks, and a day prior to the contest, head coach Claude Julien informed the media that Weber was on his way back to Montreal to meet with doctors about his ailment.
However, the defender was spotted in Vancouver hours later, with a walking boot on.
According to several Montreal media, the injury is more serious than what the Habs are letting us know.
