It is fair to believe Saturday night's 3-0 loss against the Ottawa Senators was extremely disappointing for the Montreal Canadiens (except for Carey Price, maybe? He seemed pretty happy with the result...). But does that mean the season is over and that it is time to make a few franchise-altering moves?
Former NHL scout Grant McCagg, who now follows the Habs very closely, believes it is the case. Following Saturday's outdoor game, he said he thinks it is time for a fire sale, and suggested multiple transactions for general manager Marc Bergevin:
He's basically saying everyone has to go but Jonathan Drouin, Jacob De La Rose, Alex Galchenyuk and Brendan Gallagher.
Do you agree with him? Is it time for Bergevin to pull the trigger and trade all of his best assets?
