Haley and Stewart drop the gloves for a great tilt.

They leave the ice bloody.

We were treated to an early Christmas present courtesy of Florida Panthers enforcer Michael Haley and Minnesota Wild enforcer Chris Stewart.

The two National Hockey League bruisers immediately dropped the gloves off the faceoff with just over 3 minutes left in the first period of their Friday night match up and put on a show for the fans.

Despite the fact that Haley appeared to be, and is in fact, the much smaller man he got the better of Stewart in this one landing several punishing right hands to the face of his opponent.

It's unclear who got cut during this exchange but someone was definitely bloody because the ice crew came out to scrape up the mess after the fact. We think it's a safe bet to assume Stewart was the man cut as he took the biggest shots during the fight.
