According to a report from Postmedia reporter and Calgary Flames insider Wes Gilbertson, Flames veteran Kris Versteeg finally took to the ice yesterday as part of the rehab process on his injured hip.
Vestige has been out of the Flames lineup since suffering a hip injury on November 24th against the Dallas Stars and has been recovering from hip surgery since early December. While yesterday’s news has to be seen as a positive sign, there’s still no timetable for Versteeg’s return. Officially he is listed as “month-to-month”.
