Buffalo Sabres top forward Evander Kane truly has the Christmas spirit. The 26-year-old star forward treated 50 area kids to dinner at a very fancy restaurant in Buffalo.
Five lucky kids from Dominik Hasek's Hasek's Heroes Hockey Program were among the guests.
Kane topped off the evening by giving each child a pair of Beats wireless headphones for Christmas.
The sniper has heard his name amongst trade chatter for several months now, but though he might not end the season in Buffalo, he is still doing great things for the people there.
And on the ice too. In 34 games with the Sabres, Kane has tallied 14 goals and 31 points thus far.
