Anaheim Ducks fans, do not count on Ryan Kesler’s return to action before the Christmas break because the team certainly isn't.
Head coach Randy Carlyle has revealed that the top forward, who has been in a rehabilitation process from a major hip surgery done in June, still has some issues with his recovery.
Now a potential timetable on a return looks more like it could come once 2018 begins as opposed to the hope for an appearance before or right after the Christmas holiday break.
"So we’re going to try to be as prudent as we possibly can." This is the good news Ducks fans need to hold on to.
The Ducks are sitting two points behind third-place San Jose and three behind Minnesota for the second wild-card spot.
They surely hope to count on Kesler's experience sooner than later.
