Mario Lemieux five goals/five ways performance against the New Jersey Devils in 1988 has been voted the «Greatest moment in NHL history»! In that game against the Devils, Lemieux scored a goal at even strenght, on the power play, shorthanded, on a penalty shot and in an empty net, becoming the only player to ever score five goals five different ways in the same game.

Drafted first overall by the Pittsburgh Penguins in 1984, Lemieux played 915 games in the NHL, registering 1723 points, and added 172 points in 107 playoff games. He won the Stanley Cup with Pittsburgh in 1991 and 1992.
