Winnipeg Jets defenseman Dustin Byfuglien scored his first goal of the season against the Buffalo Sabres on Friday night, ending a 33-game (first since March 30th 2017) goal drought! Byfuglien had no goal before tonight's game, but still registered 15 assists.
Drafted 245th overall by the Chicago Blackhawks in 2003, Byfuglien played 787 games in the NHL before tonight's game with the Blackhawks, the Atlanta Trashers and the Jets, registering 165 goals and 299 assists for 464 total points. He added 26 points in 43 playoff games. He helped Chicago to win the Stanley Cup in 2010.
