Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Matt Murray made an outstanding save against Colorado Avalanche forward Sven Andrighetto on Monday night! That save, made early in the game, kept the score tied at 0-0. Colorado currently lead 3-1 after the second period.
Murray, 23, was drafted 83rd overall by the Penguins in 2012. Before last night's game, he had started 85 games in the NHL, posting a record of 53-20-6 with a 2.47 goals-against average and a .920 save percentage.
This season, Murray is 12-8-1 with a 2.87 goals-against average and a .906 save percentage.
