William Nylander opened the scoring against the New York Rangers on Saturday night, thanks to a pass from Auston Matthews, who is playing his first game since he suffered a concussion!
Nylander, 21, was drafted eight overall by the Leafs in 2014. He played 139 games in the NHL so far, registering 97 points. Before tonight's game, the Swedish forward scored six goals and added 17 assists for 23 points in 36 games.
The Maple Leafs are currently leading the Rangers 1-0 after the first period.
