One of the most hated men in the entire National Hockey League will make his season debut this evening, and his team could not be happier.
According to a report from Mike Coppinger of the Los Angeles Times, notorious Anaheim Ducks forward Ryan Kesler will play his first game of the regular season tonight .
Kesler has spent the entirety of the season so far recovering for a hip surgery, a process that kept him on crutches for several weeks, and a process in which he had to learn how to walk and skate again.
The 33-year-old center has built a reputation for himself as one of the most reviled players in the entire league so we doubt there will be much fanfare outside of Anaheim for his return this evening.
That being said Kesler remains a talented NHL forward and the Ducks are likely thrilled to have him back in their line up.
