A strange superstition amongst some star NHL players occurs right as the pregame warmup skate comes to a close.
A horn will sound, and players will come off in waves as they get their last practice shots in. For some though, it's imperative that they are the last one on the ice, on either end. Players such as Evgeni Malkin, Tyler Seguin, Mark Scheifele, and P.K. Subban are all known for doing this regularly.
When any of them face off against each other, it's always a battle of wills to see who can get off first. Or in the case of Scheifele and Seguin, you play rock-paper-scissors to determine who gets to stay on the ice last and fulfill their superstition.
When Subban and Seguin faced off last night, there was no game of rock-paper-scissors, rather, the Predators star left the ice first, giving his counterpart the idea that he would be last off.
But P.K. had another idea in mind.
