Report: Brian Elliott reaches important milestone!

Philadelphia Flyers goaltender Brian Elliott reached an important milestone on Friday night, in a game against the Buffalo Sabres! The 32-year old netminder started his tenth consecutive game for the Flyers, but more importantly, this start was the 400th of his career.

Elliott, drafted 291st overall by the Ottawa Senators in 2003, had 399 starts in the NHL before tonight's game with the Senators, the Colorado Avalanche, the St.Louis Blues, the Calgary Flames and the Flyers, posting a record of 204-124-41 with a 2.44 goal-against average and a .913 save percentage. 

So far this season, the Newmarket, Ontario native started 27 games with the Flyers, posting a record of 13-7-6 with a 2.67 goal-against average and a .912 save percentage.
