Report: Flames assign young defenseman to the AHL

The Calgary Flames reassigned defenseman Rasmus Andersson to the Stockton Heat (AHL), the team announced on Saturday. Andersson played one game with the Flames this season, without registering a point.

Drafted 53rd overall by the Flames in 2015, the 21-year old defenseman registered 16 points in 22 games played in the AHL so far this season. 

The Flames are currently fourth in the Pacific division with a record of 18-15-3. They will play their next game on December 28th against the San Jose Sharks.
