Report: Leafs fans left in the dark ahead of Sens game tonight

Hopefully there's nothing to worry about.

The Toronto Maple Leafs weren't in game action on Friday, but one story still dominated the day - is Morgan Rielly okay?

The answer to that question is a simple "nobody seems to know or wants to tell us".

He was given the day off after taking a hard fall against the Philadelphia Flyers on Thursday. He came back into the game after leaving to the locker room, but his minutes were heavily managed by head coach Mike Babcock, as his star defenseman was clearly not at 100%.

It's believed to be a shoulder injury, but no one is saying for certain.

It was announced following practice on Friday that Rielly's status for tonight's tilt against the Ottawa Senators was uncertain, and that we would know more today.

Unfortunately, we're left in the dark, as Rielly participated in a short optional morning skate, but was later labelled a game-time decision.

It seems unlikely that we'll have any confirmation of his status until pregame warmups, should that change, we'll be sure to let you know immediately.

In the mean time, here are the lines that Babcock rolled with in practice on Friday.

Andreas Borgman was thrust into Rielly's spot, while Mitch Marner was demoted to the 4th line.

We'll see if these lines hold up tonight.

Puck drop is at 7pm ET.
