Toronto Maple Leafs forward Mitch Marner seems to have found his offensive touch back in the last couple of games! The 20-year old forward, playing in his second season in the NHL, has registered six points in his last five games, including a four points performance against the Carolina Hurricanes on Tuesday.
Drafted fourth overall by the Maple Leafs in 2015, the Markham, Ontario native scored four goals and added 21 assists for 25 points in 36 games played so far this season. Last year, in his rookie campaign, Marner scored 19 goals and added 42 assists for 61 points in 77 games played, and added four points in six playoff games against the Washington Capitals.
In 119 games played in the NHL so far, he has 90 points.
The Maple Leafs are playing their next game on Saturday night against the New York Rangers. They are currently second in the Atlantic division with a record of 21-14-1.
