Vancouver Canucks defenseman Erik Gudbranson will be back in the lineup tonight to face the Montreal Canadiens, as reported on Twitter by hockey insider Irfaan Gaffar. The 25-year old defenseman was sidelined with an upper-body injury since November 22nd.
Drafted third overall by the Florida Panthers in 2010, Gudbranson played 360 games in the NHL with the Panthers and the Canucks, registering 49 points. Vancouver acquired him via trade in 2016, in a deal that sent Jared McCann to the Panthers.
In 21 games played with the Canucks this season, he didn't register a point, had 29 penalty minutes and a defensive differential of plus two.
