Former New Jersey Devils forward, recently acquired by the Anaheim Ducks in exchange for defenseman Sami Vatanen, dropped a bomb on both team’s fanbases, stating that he’s open to returning to New Jersey once he hits free-agency following next season.
Henrique was an incredibly popular player amongst the Devils’ fanbase, and and even more popular player inside the team’s dressing room. And, while Henrique admitted that he hasn’t thought that far ahead in the future, he noted that Devils GM Ray Shero has a history of bringing back former players.
