TSN ranks Auston Matthews goal eight best of 2017!

With the year shortly coming to an end, staff ranked the best goals scored in the 2017 calendar year. Toronto Maple Leafs forward Auston Matthews goal against the Montreal Canadiens on October 14th was ranked at number eight!

Matthews, 20, was drafted first overall by the Maple Leafs in 2016. In 108 games played in the NHL so far, the American forward scored 53 goals and added 42 assists for a total of 95 points. He added five points in six playoff games. 

This season, Matthews had 26 points in 26 games played before he got injured. He missed the last five games with a concussion.
