He was player of the game!

Team Canada had a big 6-0 win over Slovakia at the World Junior Hockey Championship in Buffalo improving their record to 2-0 after last night's boxing day win over Finland. A lot of players impressed on Team Canada but there was only one player of the game and that was Vancouver Canucks prospect Jonah Gadjovich.

Gadjovich scored two goals for Canada and showed impressive skill and composure the entire game. Drafted 55th overall by the Canucks in last year's draft, Gadjovich has 26 points in 21 games with the Owen Sound Attack in the Ontario Hockey League. Canada's World Junior team does not necessarily have elite top prospects or big names on the team if you look at Gadjovich and their other forwards, they have a crop of really strong speedy forwards who can put the puck in the back of the net.
