Toronto Maple Leafs superstar Auston Matthews will miss a 6th consecutive game tonight with a mysterious “lower body injury”. The Leafs take on the Columbus Blue Jackets tonight and they'll do so without their leading scorer again.
While the team hasn’t specified exactly what his injury is, speculation has ranged from a concussion to a nagging wrist injury. At this point, with only one game left before the team breaks for the Holidays, does it make sense for Matthews to be with the team?
Why not send him back home to Toronto where he can rest up and get ready for their first game following the break on December 28th.
